This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ The Solution Consultant plays a crucial role in Salesforce Professional Services, tasked with converting customer business needs into scalable, best-practice Salesforce solutions.
β’ Facilitate customer discovery and requirements-gathering workshops to identify business challenges, process gaps, and solution needs.
β’ Design and configure Salesforce solutions in accordance with the Salesforce Professional Services Methodology (SPSM) and the Well-Architected framework.
β’ Create Technical Design Documents (TDDs), solution blueprints, and configuration specifications to guide delivery teams.
β’ Collaborate across functions with Technical Architects, QA Consultants, Change Management leads, and Engagement Delivery Managers throughout the engagement lifecycle.
β’ Act as the functional subject matter expert on one or more Salesforce clouds (e.g., Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Data Cloud, Agentforce) during active delivery engagements.
β’ Assist in UAT planning and execution, including defect triage and resolution in collaboration with QA.
β’ Contribute to go-live preparation activities such as data migration validation, training support, and hypercare coverage.
β’ Engage in knowledge-sharing, internal enablement, and onboarding initiatives (e.g., Skill Up Lab, KSO-aligned activities).
β’ Maintain utilization targets that align with AMERS delivery standards while ensuring high-quality outcomes.
β’ A minimum of THREE (3) years of experience in a functional consulting, solution consulting, or business analysis role within a Professional Services or delivery environment.
β’ A Bachelor's degree (Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of formal education or advanced degree).
β’ Must be capable of OBTAINING and MAINTAINING a Federal or DoD "SECRET" security clearance.
β’ Hands-on experience with Salesforce configuration; relevant certifications are strongly preferred (e.g., Salesforce Administrator, Platform App Builder, or cloud-specific credentials).
β’ Understanding of the complete services engagement lifecycle β from discovery and design through to build, UAT, and go-live.
β’ Excellent facilitation skills with the capability to lead workshops and effectively communicate with both business and technical stakeholders.
β’ Proficiency in documenting and conveying solution designs clearly through TDDs, process flows, and configuration guides.
β’ Comfortable working within matrixed, cross-functional delivery teams.
