This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina, +3 more states.
• Act as the primary systems manager for the Customer Relationship Management platform and its associated applications.
• Conduct needs assessments and analyze cost/benefit scenarios to ensure the technology aligns with the company's business strategies.
• Facilitate the translation of business requirements into technical specifications to guide the implementation of new features, systems, enhancements, and upgrades.
• Collaborate with vendors to ensure that the system solution meets the business requirements.
• Meet with decision-makers, system owners, and end users to help identify business, financial, and operational requirements as well as systems objectives.
• Serve as the technical liaison for the business during the presentation of new systems/applications to Atlantic Union’s Application and Architecture Review Board.
• Lead design sessions for prototyping new systems or functionalities aimed at improving business processes, operations, and information flow; create technical maps, diagrams, and flowcharts of the system view.
• Develop and maintain design documentation (such as data flow diagrams and workflows) in collaboration with various departments to document integration points between systems.
• Provide systems analysis expertise with a focus on identifying gaps.
• Enhance systems and operational workflows by evaluating current practices and designing necessary modifications/enhancements.
• Assist in identifying control points within new system designs and workflows, collaborating with customers to ensure that working environments are adequately controlled.
• Review and assess the effectiveness and efficiency of existing systems while formulating strategies to improve or further leverage these systems.
• Ensure that an ongoing support structure is established, with documented Roles and Responsibilities, prior to the approval of any application or system for production readiness.
• Undertake troubleshooting in a triage capacity, consistent with the Problem and Incident Troubleshooting process.
• Present production changes to the Change Control Board, adhering to the requirements of this process.
• Actively engage in and lead system and unit testing for modified and new systems, along with providing post-implementation support.
• A college diploma or university degree in business administration, computer science, engineering, management information systems, or equivalent work experience.
• At least 10+ years of relevant work experience.
• Strong IT background with a solid understanding of banking operations, products, processes, and procedures.
• Exceptional analytical and creative problem-solving abilities.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
• Capability to conduct research into systems issues and products as necessary.
• Ability to convey ideas in both technical and user-friendly terms.
• Highly self-motivated and directed, with strong critical thinking and engineering/re-engineering skills.
• Proficient in effectively prioritizing and executing tasks in a high-pressure environment and conducting workflow analysis.
• Experience in a team-oriented, collaborative, and customer-focused environment.
• Familiarity with corporate security policies and the management of user access/profiles.
