This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Act as the main administrator and technical steward for the Salesforce platform.
• Oversee user setup, roles, profiles, permission sets, security access, queues, public groups, and associated administrative tasks.
• Address user-generated tickets, support inquiries, system questions, and reported problems.
• Diagnose and resolve bugs, configuration issues, data problems, user access challenges, automation errors, and system defects.
• Manage Salesforce configuration, including objects, fields, Lightning record pages, record types, validation rules, flows, reports, dashboards, and list views.
• Track system performance, user engagement, data integrity, and overall platform wellness.
• Assist with Salesforce releases, sandbox testing, change management, and deployment activities.
• Maintain documentation related to system configuration, business processes, data definitions, and support protocols.
• Lead and implement small to mid-sized Salesforce enhancement projects from initiation to execution.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to comprehend business needs and convert them into effective, scalable Salesforce solutions.
• Configure and upgrade Salesforce using declarative tools, including Flow, dynamic forms, page layouts, validation rules, approval processes, reports, and dashboards.
• Facilitate Salesforce integrations with other business systems through requirements gathering, testing, troubleshooting, and vendor coordination.
• Assess the impact of requested changes on processes, data, reporting, user experience, integrations, and downstream systems.
• Assist with user acceptance testing, deployment planning, training documentation, and post-launch support.
• Identify opportunities for process simplification, reduction of technical debt, enhancement of user experience, and increase of Salesforce adoption.
• Own and refine Salesforce data quality standards, including field usage, duplicate management, naming conventions, data completeness, and reporting accuracy.
• Collaborate with business leaders to define and uphold data definitions, field governance, and reporting standards.
• Support data imports, exports, updates, cleanup, deduplication, and migration tasks.
• Ensure platform modifications facilitate accurate pipeline management, forecasting, reporting, and business decision-making.
• Serve as a trusted Salesforce advisor to business stakeholders.
• Guide users toward sustainable, secure, user-friendly, and maintainable solutions.
• Stay updated on Salesforce releases, features, best practices, and platform capabilities.
• Collaborate with IT, consultants, vendors, and business teams to ensure solutions are designed, tested, documented, and adopted effectively.
• Support mission-critical energy efficiency and infrastructure solutions for educational institutions and government agencies.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, Information Technology, Data Analytics, or a related field is preferred.
• Five or more years of practical Salesforce administration experience.
• Salesforce Administrator certification is mandatory.
• Extensive experience configuring Salesforce Sales Cloud and/or Service Cloud.
• Proficiency in managing users, permissions, roles, profiles, permission sets, objects, fields, page layouts, record types, validation rules, reports, dashboards, and Lightning pages.
• Practical experience in building and troubleshooting Salesforce Flows.
• Experience supporting business users through tickets, issue resolution, enhancement requests, and system training.
• Capability to translate business requirements into scalable Salesforce configurations.
• Strong understanding of Salesforce data model, security model, automation tools, reporting, and platform governance.
• Solid data quality mindset, including experience with data cleanup, deduplication, field governance, and reporting accuracy.
• Ability to assess requests and recommend best-practice solutions.
• Strong problem-solving capabilities and the ability to troubleshoot system issues independently.
• Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, support requests, and enhancement projects simultaneously.
• Salesforce Advanced Administrator certification is preferred.
• Experience with Salesforce integrations, APIs, middleware, or third-party connected applications is preferred.
• Experience working with sales operations, sales processes, pipeline management, forecasting, or CRM governance is preferred.
• Experience supporting Salesforce in a multi-region or multi-business-unit environment is preferred.
• Experience creating training materials, process documentation, release notes, and user guides is preferred.
• Experience working with sandbox environments, change sets, DevOps tools, or structured deployment processes is preferred.
• Exposure to Salesforce architecture principles, including scalable data models, automation strategy, security design, and integration patterns is preferred.
