Salesforce Marketing Cloud Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• The Salesforce Marketing Cloud Consultant/Developer will be responsible for the hands-on implementation and enhancement of Marketing Cloud and Data Cloud solutions, particularly focusing on use cases related to life sciences customers, HCP, and patient engagement.

• Design, construct, and refine Marketing Cloud journeys that support email, SMS, and multichannel engagement scenarios.

• Implement functionalities within Marketing Cloud such as Journey Builder, Email Studio, Mobile Studio, Automation Studio, and Account Engagement (Pardot) as applicable.

• Assist with Marketing Cloud Account Engagement (B2B) scenarios, encompassing lead nurturing, scoring, grading, and sales alignment efforts.

• Collaborate with Salesforce Solution Architects and Business Analysts to convert engagement requirements into actionable Marketing Cloud and Data Cloud solutions.

• Work in partnership with Customer Success Managers and creative/media agencies to execute campaign designs, templates, and journey logic.

• Support engagement scenarios driven by Data Cloud, including data ingestion, identity resolution, DMOs, segmentation, and activation within Marketing Cloud.

• Utilize life sciences data sets (HCP, HCO, patient, consent, product, interaction data) to facilitate compliant targeting and personalized experiences.

• Design and implement integrations between Marketing Cloud, Data Cloud, Salesforce CRM clouds, and external systems through APIs or middleware.

• Assist with consent management, subscription management, and preference handling in accordance with regulatory and business standards.

• Conduct unit testing and provide support for UAT concerning Marketing Cloud and data-driven engagement solutions.

• Troubleshoot issues related to journey execution, data synchronization, and deliverability; provide assistance during go-live and post-launch stabilization.

• Adhere to SDLC and release practices, including environment coordination, deployment readiness, and documentation.


⛳️ Requirements

• 3-6 years of practical experience in implementing Salesforce Marketing Cloud solutions.

• Extensive experience in constructing and managing journeys in Journey Builder, including data events, decision splits, and multi-entry patterns.

• Hands-on experience with Email Studio and Mobile Studio (SMS) for executing campaigns.

• Familiarity with Marketing Cloud Account Engagement (Pardot) for B2B or HCP engagement applications.

• Strong understanding of Salesforce Data Cloud, encompassing data ingestion, identity resolution, DMOs, segmentation, and activation.

• Experience with integrating Marketing Cloud and Data Cloud with external systems or CRM platforms using APIs or middleware.

• Proven track record of collaborating with agencies and customer success teams to deliver effective engagement programs.

• Experience working in Agile delivery teams.

• Required Salesforce Certifications: Salesforce Marketing Cloud Consultant or Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer, Salesforce Data Cloud Consultant.

• Nice to Have: experience with Salesforce CRM clouds (Service Cloud, Life Sciences Cloud, or Health Cloud), experience with life sciences data sets (HCP, HCO, patient services, consent, product data), experience in supporting regulated life sciences or healthcare engagement programs, MuleSoft experience or familiarity with API-led integration patterns, experience with Agentforce or AI-driven engagement functionalities within Salesforce, exposure to GxP-regulated or validated environments, including consent and data governance considerations, additional optional Salesforce certifications: Marketing Cloud Account Engagement Specialist; Marketing Cloud Email Specialist; Platform App Builder.
