Salesforce Engineering Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee the architecture, performance, and scalability of services based on Salesforce Platform and Node.js.

• Ensure that architectural choices align with Salesforce and cloud engineering best practices.

• Take responsibility for the technical direction of Salesforce applications.

• Provide mentorship to senior engineers.

• Collaborate with Product and Engineering leadership to deliver high-quality solutions efficiently.

• Manage a team of 10 to 15 developers.

• Establish goals and conduct one-on-one meetings.

• Facilitate career growth and recruit engineering talent.

• Remove obstacles to progress.

• Balance the delivery of the roadmap with engineering excellence, including code quality, system reliability, platform performance, security, and developer experience.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 8 years of software engineering experience, including over 3 years in leadership roles within engineering teams.

• Strong expertise in Salesforce, encompassing Apex, Lightning Web Components, SOQL, Salesforce APIs, and best practices for the Salesforce platform.

• Demonstrated experience in designing scalable enterprise solutions with Salesforce technical architecture.

• Solid background in Node.js, with a clear perspective on creating maintainable services and integrations at scale.

• Experience in integrating Salesforce with external systems through modern APIs and integration methodologies.

• Comprehensive understanding of software architecture, scalability, security, and performance enhancement.

• Proven track record of enhancing engineering velocity, system performance, scalability, and deployment procedures in production environments.

• Established capability in growing engineers, effective hiring, and leading high-performing engineering teams that consistently achieve results.

• Familiarity with Salesforce DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment automation.

• Experience with AWS, cloud infrastructure, or enterprise SaaS platforms.

• Proficiency in Kubernetes, Terraform, or containerization technologies.

• Salesforce certifications such as Platform Developer I or II, Application Architect, or System Architect.

• Experience in scaling SaaS platforms or products aimed at developers.
