This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
• Take ownership, manage, and enhance the entire Salesforce.com platform.
• Establish and enforce best practices for system upkeep, configuration, development, testing, and data integrity.
• Analyze and refine business systems and integrated applications.
• Design, document, construct, test, and implement Salesforce enhancements.
• Execute the implementation of Salesforce custom objects, junction objects, master-detail relationships, and lookup relationships.
• Support and maintain formulas, validation rules, workflows, flows, Process Builder, approvals, and assignment rules.
• Create and oversee custom objects, fields, formulas, workflows, flows, processes, and approval processes.
• Collaborate with management, analytics, business intelligence, and end users to develop Salesforce functionalities and dashboards.
• Test new functionalities prior to production deployment.
• Investigate critical production issues as a subject matter expert.
• Assess Salesforce releases and suggest enhancements to improve sales efficiency and productivity.
• Preserve database integrity through data cleansing and duplicate record management.
• Manage users, profiles, roles, permission sets, security, access settings, objects, fields, record types, and page layouts.
• Handle operational requests and reporting; troubleshoot issues.
• Develop and maintain reports and dashboards.
• Identify solutions for inefficient workflows and improvement opportunities through measurement and analysis.
• Mentor and train Salesforce users in CRM best practices.
• Create training materials and offer user support.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

• Ability to build and sustain effective internal and external relationships.
• Understanding of relational databases and data integration tools.
• At least five years of professional experience, preferably within the Contract Research Organization (CRO) or healthcare sectors.
• At least two years of experience as a Salesforce.com Administrator.
• Salesforce.com Administrator (ADM201 and ADM211) certification is required.
• Preferred certifications include Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Developer certifications.
• Proven capability to design and implement new processes and encourage user adoption.
• In-depth understanding of the Salesforce platform, including custom applications, objects, formula fields, workflows, custom views, and intermediate-complexity content.
• Strong comprehension of Salesforce.com best practices and functionalities.
• Excellent data management skills.
• Documented success in driving projects to completion.
• Ability to comprehend and communicate complex requirements.
• Experience in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Pharmaceuticals, or Contract Research Organizations is preferred.
