This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Collaborate with Sales personnel within a designated territory by offering both pre-sale and post-sale technical training and product consulting to clients globally.
• Identify opportunities to enhance customer growth, retention, cross-selling, and penetration by leveraging expertise in the product and services portfolio.
• Responsible for preparing and delivering instructional materials across various media formats for technical training events, including user meetings, technical conferences, on-site customer visits, teleconference meetings, and virtual online product laboratories.
• Conduct technical product demonstrations and training sessions for both customers and internal staff.
• Design and develop customized training materials tailored to meet customer requirements, emphasizing product features and demonstrating search techniques with specific examples.
• Create and provide technical instructions and demonstrations for pre-sale and post-sale support, workshops, user meetings, technical conferences, and both remote and in-person customer meetings.
• Assess customer information needs and align them with suitable products and services in close cooperation with the sales team.
• Collect customer feedback regarding products, services, or policies and relay this information to internal partners such as product development and sales.
• A foundational comprehension of chemistry, holding a bachelor's degree in natural science, with an advanced degree being preferred.
• Experience in supporting science-related solutions with a robust ability to articulate application-specific value propositions addressing user challenges.
• Preferred: familiarity with scientific information solutions like SciFinder and STN; experience working with patent information; knowledge of the drug discovery process.
• Proficiency in English as well as the language of the customers you support.
• Strong presentation skills and the capability to communicate effectively and respond to inquiries about product content and relevant scientific information.
• Ability to swiftly grasp subject areas beyond our expertise; Analytical Methods and formulas are products requiring rapid comprehension of science and indexing practices, followed by the development of pertinent search strategies for customer training or demonstration purposes.
