This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Operating at the convergence of clinical research, clinical expertise, and advancements in generative AI technology.
• Utilizing rigorous clinical and scientific standards to inform and implement methods for developing and evaluating clinical AI.
• Applying clinical knowledge and the latest scientific findings on evidence-based AI approaches in mental health to guide product development.
• Assisting in the development of AI-powered features throughout the product life cycle, including design and conceptualization, specifying requirements, evaluating feature performance, and monitoring post-deployment activities.
• Articulating clinical considerations and requirements to cross-functional teams and ensuring their integration.
• Engaging in extensive collaboration with cross-functional technical and clinical teams to meet shared objectives.
• Keeping abreast of the latest advancements in clinical AI research and sharing insights with cross-functional partners.
• PsyD or PhD in clinical psychology.
• Current clinical licensure is preferred.
• Robust foundational skills in clinical research methods with the ability to apply these methods to generative AI-focused initiatives.
• Over 1 year of experience in developing and/or evaluating digital mental health tools and interventions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, particularly in conveying highly technical concepts to interdisciplinary and non-technical audiences.
• Strong enthusiasm for acquiring in-depth knowledge and skills in AI-related technical areas, such as machine learning and prompt engineering.
• Comprehensive training in and thorough understanding of evidence-based mental health intervention strategies, including CBT, ACT, and DBT.
• Solid training in managing clinical risk and/or experience with high severity clinical populations.
• Committed to promoting evidence-based mental health care through the innovative use of technology on a large scale.
• Strong dedication to culturally responsive care and health equity; specialized training and experience with diverse populations are preferred.
