This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Promote CORE client products to both new and existing customers within the designated territory.
• Formulate and implement effective sales strategies.
• Establish and nurture robust client relationships.
• Meet and exceed sales targets.
• Conduct product presentations and engage with customers to drive sales on behalf of CORE clients.
• Develop and manage a Platinum Partner Portfolio comprising at least 40 accounts, engaging with them at least once per trimester.
• Complete a minimum of 10 sales calls each week.
• Present to at least 3 clients during each sales call.
• Utilize CRM for planning and documenting sales activities, tracking target achievement, and managing objectives.
• Leverage external data sources to create compelling sales narratives around flavors, trends, and insights.
• Maintain a pipeline of opportunities that is 2 to 3 times the sales goal.
• Regularly update operator profiles, including buyer contacts, market segments, attributes, size, buying group affiliation, distribution channels, and competitive intelligence.
• Prepare and secure necessary sales tools such as samples, programs, and POS materials.
• Assist with company sales meetings, food shows, vendor fairs, and district sales meetings as requested by management.
• Collaborate with the FS West Corp department and the Southern California Chain Team.
• At least 2 years of experience in a sales position, ideally within a related industry.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, demonstrated by a successful history of building client relationships.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively and meet deadlines.
• Proficient in utilizing CRM systems and other sales-related software.
• Capable of working independently as well as collaboratively within a team, possessing a results-driven mindset.
• Willingness to travel within the assigned territory for client meetings and events as needed.
• Analytical capabilities to interpret sales data and generate valuable insights.
• A self-motivated individual with a proactive approach to problem-solving and a passion for sales.
• Adaptability to evolving market conditions and client requirements.
