This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio, +3 more states.
• Formulate and implement impactful sales strategies in collaboration with the Market SVP to surpass National Account business development targets and objectives.
• The Sales Executive acts as a strategic growth collaborator with the Market SVP and Regional Sales Lead, tasked with shaping and executing multi-year National Account sales strategies that foster profitable growth, enterprise differentiation, and ongoing market share expansion.
• This position functions as a strategic business partner to both internal and external stakeholders (peers, producers, prospects).
• Key responsibilities include evaluating the competitive landscape and working together to define and implement sales strategies that exceed goals.
• This role is responsible for maintaining and updating a prospect-specific pipeline and strategy, supporting prospecting and target marketing initiatives, and executing Aetna’s response to RFPs, including defining strategy, qualitative and quantitative responses, finalist preparation, and participation in finalist presentations.
• Additionally, the role will assist with administrative tasks necessary for collaboration with these partners, including CRM data entry, reporting, form submissions, and analysis of essential components of qualitative and quantitative dynamics in the region and targeted prospective clients.
• Over 5 years of experience in healthcare, benefits, or complex B2B sales environments.
• More than 3 years of experience in the health insurance sector.
• Proven experience with large, multi-stakeholder sales processes, preferably within National Accounts, large group, or complex employer segments.
• Operates with a high level of autonomy, sound judgment, and accountability.
• Exhibits intellectual curiosity, thorough preparation, and proactive problem-solving skills.
