This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Minnesota.
• Identify and pursue mid-contract and new sales opportunities within the public sector.
• Conduct thorough research to pinpoint key decision-makers and influencers in target agencies.
• Gain an in-depth understanding of Westlaw and CoCounsel capabilities, customizing sales presentations to meet the specific needs of government agencies.
• Create and implement a strategic sales plan to effectively penetrate accounts, both within and outside of standard purchasing processes.
• Collaborate efficiently within a team setting to advance and finalize sales deals.
• Achieve and surpass monthly and yearly sales targets for Westlaw and CoCounsel products.
• Keep accurate and current records of the sales pipeline and forecast reports.
• Stay updated on market trends, competitive landscape, and industry best practices.
• Demonstrated success in a sales position, preferably in the legal technology or federal government software sectors.
• Strong comprehension of legal technology and its applications within government settings.
• Capable of working autonomously as well as part of a collaborative team.
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
• Outstanding communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in conducting business professionally, both in-person and remotely.
• Ability to excel in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Familiarity with legal technology solutions, particularly CoCounsel, is advantageous.
• A bachelor’s degree is required; a J.D. is preferred.
