📋 Description

• In the role of **Regional Sales Specialist – Liquid Handling**, you will be responsible for meeting the annual sales objectives for the **Apricot** brand’s liquid handling product line throughout the entire **East Coast** territory.

• Each day will present new challenges: from conducting product demonstrations and generating outbound leads to providing post-sales support, you will manage it all.

• You will excel in a collaborative team setting, assisting various territory and key account managers, while taking full ownership of your pipeline, actively addressing real customer issues, and playing a vital role in the launch of innovative new products from Apricot.

• A growth-oriented mindset coupled with a genuine curiosity, along with the confidence to present yourself effectively in front of any audience and the humility to continuously learn.

• A self-motivated attitude, comfortable taking charge of your territory and holding yourself accountable for results.

• Proficiency in computer use and a comprehensive understanding of the Microsoft Office Suite. Familiarity with a CRM system such as Salesforce is advantageous.

• Exceptional oral and written communication abilities, with strong persuasive and explanatory skills.

• Capability to deliver both formal and informal product presentations to various audiences, including physicians, research associates, purchasing groups, lab managers, and executive members of organizations.

• Preferably, you should have knowledge of the laboratory environment and the sales cycle.

• You should be able to interact effectively and ethically within the scientific professional community, including but not limited to inventory managers, physicians, research associates, purchasing groups, lab managers, and organizational executives.

• Capability to function within varying safety levels of different laboratories.

• Ability to independently manage your time and workload within the designated regional territory.

• An undergraduate degree or equivalent qualification in a Life Science discipline is required; a background in Genomics or Protein Crystallography is a plus.

• Relevant education and/or experience in sales is mandatory.

• You must be willing to travel regularly within the assigned region. Ideally, you will be based in one of the key East Coast areas: Boston, Maryland, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, or Pennsylvania.

• Mechanical aptitude and the capacity to learn necessary scientific terminology to effectively sell in the laboratory market.
