This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Oversee accounts within the designated area, showcasing LGC Standards products to both new and existing customers across various sectors.
• Identify and secure new prospective opportunities derived from a combination of self-generated leads and those provided by marketing.
• Collaborate with LGC Standard’s sales resources (including specialists and customer service) to enhance the customer experience.
• Utilize LGC’s sales tools and virtual capabilities to prospect, nurture, and finalize opportunities while conducting continuous territory planning.
• Achieve sales targets in a defined region, leveraging collaboration to secure sales from both new and existing customers.
• Partner with marketing to introduce new products and remain updated on competitor trends and activities.
• Effectively manage territory by strategically engaging with key account collaborators, including end users, procurement, and influential stakeholders.
• Maintain the overall distribution relationship within the territory, focusing on high-impact activities, business reviews, specialist support, and training.
• Develop and manage effective pricing strategies, including contracts and customer-specific pricing: renewals, negotiations, and implementations.
• A scientific background in Analytical Chemistry, encompassing Inorganic and/or Organic Chemistry, and Chemical Synthesis.
• Formal qualifications in a relevant field such as Pharmaceutical, Life Science/Biotech, Environmental/Food/Life Sciences, or Industrial Science.
• Proven experience in successfully selling scientific consumables.
• Non-sales candidates who possess a solid technical understanding and demonstrable business acumen are encouraged to apply.
• Experience in meeting or exceeding sales targets, ideally with business-to-business sales experience, will be an advantage.
• Demonstrated experience in preparing and executing project plans.
• Proven ability to establish collaborative relationships with all relevant customer role levels.
• Residing in the Southwest region with the capacity to travel up to 20% of the time.
