This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.
• Collect, manage, and analyze data effectively.
• Identify components of problems and utilize statistical analysis, forecasting, and mathematical modeling to draw actionable insights.
• Establish analysis objectives and oversee the appropriate gathering of database data.
• Assess business scenarios from an informational standpoint.
• Collaborate with sales team members to evaluate data and its implications.
• Develop sales reporting tools, automate reporting processes, and create new metrics and dashboards.
• Compile and distribute operational reports and performance metrics.
• Analyze reports and assist managers in interpreting the underlying data.
• Ensure the maintenance and auditing of critical sales data through relevant IT systems and departments.
• Act as the internal point of contact for ad hoc information requests from end-users.
• Aid in the implementation of new processes and workflows.
• Uphold reporting standards throughout the sales operations team.
• Engage in technical and strategic projects, communicating progress, coordinating resources, and overcoming obstacles.
• Identify opportunities for performance enhancement, strategic initiatives, and new capabilities alongside management and sales personnel.
• Propose options and recommended actions and assist in their implementation.
• Share knowledge and provide consultancy on interdepartmental projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields.
• 3-5 years of experience in a technical/analytical role, or an advanced degree with 1-3 years of relevant experience.
• Preference for candidates with an advanced degree.
• Capability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Works with a sense of urgency.
• Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
• Proficient in conveying technical concepts effectively.
• Strong intellectual curiosity.
• Advanced skills in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, VBA).
• Proficient in statistical/analytical software and programming languages for automation (90% R, 10% Python).
• Skilled in data-access languages (SQL, SOQL).
• Familiarity with the OBIEE data and reporting platform.
• Experience with Salesforce or Google Analytics platforms is advantageous.
• Must successfully complete a pre-employment background check and drug screening prior to starting work.
• Willingness to travel as needed, with less than 10% travel expected.
