This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Drive sales growth and enhance overall profitability in designated product categories
• Collaborate with the Medline sales team to expand targeted accounts
• Manage the assigned territory through field sales activities, including territory analysis, comprehensive geographic coverage, account management, prospecting, and new product assessments
• Prepare and present clinical or technical proposals demonstrating how Medline's products can fulfill customer requirements
• Maintain comprehensive product, clinical, and procedural knowledge related to the products sold within a specific territory
• Attend sales meetings, trade events, or review relevant publications to gather insights on market conditions, business trends, regulations, or industry advancements
• Establish, cultivate, and sustain business relationships with both prospective and existing Medline clients
• Develop and conduct customer in-services and technical training sessions
• Monitor sales performance against objectives and report results to management
• Bachelor’s degree
• Minimum of 2 years of quota-based sales experience showcasing a background in cold calling, commissioned, full-cycle sales experience OR a minimum of 5 years of quota-based sales experience with a similar background
• At least 2 years of experience in tangible product sales and account management
• Proven history of sales growth and achieving quotas
• Demonstrated ability to identify, engage, build consensus, and close new business opportunities
• Proficiency in organizing and delivering clinical and/or technical information in a clear and concise manner
• Capability to operate with minimal supervision in a detail-oriented, results-driven environment
• Strong communication skills essential for effectively engaging and developing relationships with clients
• Customer service skills necessary to ensure a positive customer experience from beginning to end
• Time management skills required to achieve sales targets
• Financial acumen necessary for understanding financial aspects and managing contract figures
• Proficiency in Microsoft products
• Familiarity with and usage of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software
• Position involves travel for business purposes, both in-state and out-of-state
