This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• In this role, you will report to the Senior Manager of Sales for the Ontario Region, managing inbound calls from customers seeking quotes or looking to enhance their coverage.
• Your responsibilities include identifying customer needs, suggesting customized insurance solutions, and delivering precise, competitive quotes.
• You will present new products and services, clarify coverage options, and ensure a positive customer experience that fosters loyalty and encourages repeat business.
• Your tasks will involve selling products by establishing contact and nurturing relationships with potential clients.
• You will promptly respond to phone inquiries and written requests.
• Your follow-up activities will include monitoring expiration dates, re-quoting previous prospects, reaching out to canceled files, contacting generated leads, and soliciting referrals.
• You will create a trusting atmosphere that encourages new sales opportunities and the retention of existing clients to enhance sales potential.
• Actively participating both within the team and independently, you will continually contribute to overall business enhancements.
• You will take ownership of resolving all customer inquiries, ensuring minimal effort on the part of the customer.
• A RIBO license is mandatory, or an OTL license with the expectation of securing a RIBO license within 45 days of starting employment.
• At least one year of experience in personal lines, automobile, property, and marine insurance is required.
• Exceptional communication skills with the proven ability to effectively interact with all levels of internal and external stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a pleasant, positive approach to managing customer issues.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills to balance competing priorities.
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite applications is needed, with preference given to candidates experienced in Epic, Applied Rating Services, and Company portals.
• Proficiency in verbal and written communication in both English and French is required.
