• Identify and cultivate new sales and business opportunities within the defense sector, encompassing new markets, products, and partnerships.
• Serve as the main liaison between the company and its defense clients to understand and fulfill their requirements.
• Hold regular meetings with customers to review ongoing projects, discuss future needs, and explore potential new business opportunities.
• Collaborate with the Business Development Manager – Defense to create and execute strategic customer plans aimed at achieving sales goals and increasing market share.
• Prepare and present compelling presentations and proposals customized to meet the specific needs of defense clients.
• Completion of commercial vocational training (minimum 3 years) with a further qualification focusing on sales.
• Alternatively, a university degree combined with at least 5–7 years of relevant professional experience.
• Excellent communication skills in both German and English (spoken and written).
• Strong competency in MS Office applications (e.g., Excel and Word).
• Availability for travel up to 50% of the time.
• Strategic mindset with the ability to formulate strategic plans.
• Established contacts within the defense sector, federal police, and military are advantageous.
• Clean criminal record / certificate of conduct from the police.
• Salary aligned with the IG Metall collective agreement (E10), potentially exceeding tariff based on qualifications and experience.
• Flexibility to work remotely for 2 days each week.
