This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Nebraska.
• Drive sales growth by deepening engagement with current accounts while also seeking out and developing new client relationships.
• Achieve or surpass established sales and profit margin targets.
• Provide exceptional customer service to foster relationships and guarantee customer satisfaction.
• Develop and oversee pricing strategies across all accounts.
• Collaborate with manufacturers' representatives to promote and sell featured products.
• Participate in sales meetings and maintain regular communication with the Sales Manager.
• Work collaboratively and communicate effectively with all departments.
• Apply relevant VIP (Dimensions of Professional Selling) techniques and methodologies.
• A high school diploma is mandatory; a Bachelor's degree in Professional Selling, Marketing, or Business is advantageous.
• Must possess hands-on sales experience in at least one of the following sectors: food/meat processing, industrial processing, plant operating supplies, personal protective equipment, or related safety products.
• Prior experience in the paper, packaging, janitorial/sanitation, or food service distribution industries is preferred.
• Capability to operate independently with minimal oversight.
• Excellent customer service abilities and the capacity to collaborate within a diverse team of employees, managers, and external partners.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in relevant mathematical skills.
• Display a friendly and professional demeanor.
• Competence in using Microsoft Office applications such as Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Familiarity with the IBM I-Series/AS400 operating system is highly desirable.
• Willingness to travel extensively, including occasional overnight stays.
