This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Montana.
• The individual will be tasked with marketing surgical products and related ancillary items within a designated territory.
• Cultivate and maintain a comprehensive understanding of pertinent industry standards and regulations, including but not limited to 21 CFR 820, 21 CFR 1271, AATB, MDSAP (according to jurisdictional requirements), and ISO 13485, ensuring adherence to these standards across the organization.
• Actively engage in promoting Xtant Medical’s mission, values, and quality policy.
• Uphold a safe and clean working environment while ensuring the appropriate disposal of hazardous and non-hazardous waste in compliance with OSHA guidelines and Xtant Medical's standard operating procedures (SOP).
• Generate new business opportunities by directly reaching out to both agents and key surgeons.
• Provide support during surgical procedures by leveraging clinical expertise and strong business insight.
• Develop and execute a strategic growth plan for the assigned region; oversee customer and prospective sales activities; meet sales objectives; report on progress, market trends, and competitor activities to senior leadership; and guarantee timely and efficient product delivery.
• Establish and achieve personal goals for sales volume, new client acquisition, and related performance metrics.
• Create a referral network of key surgeons and inform them about Xtant Medical products.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with new clients: Regularly meet with clients to showcase Xtant Medical products and their advantages.
• Address any manufacturing or delivery issues as necessary.
• Participate in sales training and planning meetings to stay updated on Xtant Medical products, promotions, and sales objectives.
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Engineering, Business Management, and/or a Life Science field.
• A minimum of three (3) years’ sales experience in a related field is required; experience in orthopedic, biologics, or fixation sales is highly preferred.
• Proven experience selling medical devices in a surgical or clinical environment.
• Self-driven, results-oriented, and capable of working autonomously within a designated territory.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to deliver effective presentations.
• Capacity to recognize customer needs and opportunities and align them with Company products and solutions.
• Strong grasp of products, market dynamics, and competitive landscape.
• A customer-centric approach with consistent follow-up and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to educate, train, and persuade surgeons, clinical staff, and distributors.
• Familiarity with FDA, ISO, and AATB standards relevant to regulated product sales.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and CRM tools.
