This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alaska, +4 more states.
• Surpass designated revenue and profit targets on a quarterly basis as well as against an annual objective.
• Build and nurture relationships with clients and vendors while identifying opportunities in designated regions and new markets as necessary.
• Oversee and report on a weekly sales pipeline, including opportunities, quotes, and orders.
• Collaborate with customers to establish requirements for future bids and contract proposals regarding equipment and services offered by the company.
• Travel to client sites and participate in symposiums, conferences, trade shows, and exhibitions, as well as conduct vendor ride-alongs to generate sales opportunities.
• Proactively gather competitive and customer intelligence: Relay market insights, opportunities, and threats to the company.
• Provide pricing quotes and set appropriate credit or contract terms, warranties, and delivery timelines.
• Acquire knowledge and utilize internal CRM and ERP systems for processing quotes and orders.
• Support Inside Sales with data entry for generating customer quotes and assist in identifying optimal funding opportunities.
• Suggest products to customers based on their needs and interests.
• Execute administrative tasks, including report preparation, maintaining sales records, and submitting expense account reports in alignment with corporate deadlines.
• Collaborate with potential customer professionals on product development, enhancements, modifications, or changes to improve overall performance.
• Accurately process received quotes via written, electronic, or telephonic communication.
• Formulate a marketing strategy to generate sales leads for new contacts within the current region.
• Employ a combined inside/outside team approach for sales, territory/customer strategy, vendor relations, and dealer of record.
• Interact and communicate effectively with the management team, staff, customers, subcontractors, vendors, business partners, and suppliers.
• Assume ownership and accountability for all components of the customer sales process.
• Maintain and update a Google calendar that includes client calls, travel schedules, and the working sales pipeline.
• Demonstrated work experience as a Sales Representative.
• Established knowledge of Government Sales and Federal Contracting.
• Experience with the Department of Defense, Military, Federal Agencies, U.S. Coast Guard, and/or Law Enforcement.
• Capability to meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
• Proficient in conducting skilled negotiations.
• Excellent communication abilities.
• Must hold a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, if necessary.
