This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Take charge of and expand a territory encompassing around 80 dispensaries across Upper Manhattan, Queens, and the Bronx.
• Acquire new retail accounts monthly via in-person prospecting, follow-ups, and coordination with distributors.
• Boost reorders and enhance account performance through regular store visits and effective relationship management.
• Identify accounts that are underperforming and develop action plans to improve sell-through rates.
• Implement pricing, placement, and assortment strategies to optimize revenue generation.
• Establish direct connections with buyers, managers, and key decision-makers.
• Utilize in-store presence to prepare accounts before initiating phone and follow-up sales discussions.
• Maintain a consistent visit schedule to ensure accounts are well-supported, stocked, and ordering regularly.
• Serve as the main sales contact for assigned accounts.
• Strategically plan and execute weekly territory routes to maximize coverage and efficiency across accounts.
• Monitor account performance, reorder cycles, and identify sales opportunities.
• Keep precise CRM records, visit logs, and updates on the sales pipeline.
• Provide competitive insights and feedback about the territory to leadership.
• A minimum of 3 years of sales experience in CPG, alcohol, beverage, cannabis, or a similar retail-focused industry.
• Demonstrated success in opening new accounts and managing ongoing retail relationships.
• Comfortable working in a field-based role with daily in-person visits to stores.
• Excellent communication, follow-up, and closing abilities.
• Capability to work independently and manage a territory with limited supervision.
• A valid driver’s license and dependable transportation are required.
