This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland, +1 more state.
β’ Engage in consultative selling of Avantor's extensive range of products and services.
β’ Enhance and expand sales initiatives in the Pharma, Biotech, and Industrial sectors.
β’ Identify and establish relationships with new clients.
β’ Oversee the sales pipeline and craft tailored proposals for clients.
β’ Collaborate with sales management to create business plans for the territory.
β’ Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with customers.
β’ Manage the product portfolio and implement effective sales strategies.
β’ Partner with manufacturer representatives to enhance product knowledge and pricing strategies.
β’ A college degree or relevant/applicable experience.
β’ 3-5 years of experience in a complex sales environment.
β’ A proven history of verifiable sales achievements.
β’ B2B sales experience, ideally in distribution.
β’ A background in Science or Medical Technology is preferred.
β’ Proficiency in utilizing top-tier selling processes and technology platforms (Salesforce.com, Qlikview).
β’ Availability to travel to customer sites for 4 or more days each week.
