This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Oversee the overall relationship with accounts by delivering strategic service and support to the designated customer base.
• Enhance profit margins, expand market presence, and promote value-added solution selling.
• Collaborate with both internal and external resources to provide customer service, often facilitating the efforts of others in quoting, fulfilling demand, ensuring timely order deliveries, offering engineering assistance, and addressing other customer issues.
• Act as the primary liaison between suppliers and customers to foster and cultivate long-term business relationships for Arrow.
• Accountable for Sales Excellence through the formulation and management of customer strategies within the assigned account territory.
• Requires comprehensive knowledge and accountability regarding supply chain engagements such as: e-Compass, Consignments, CARES (Customer Automated Replenishment System); identify and seize opportunities through Synergistic products (e.g., White Space Report, PEMCO Mix), Reverse Logistics, GBC (Global Business Conversion) & ITAD (Information Technology Asset Disposition).
• Promote and drive Solutions Selling in alignment with the approved account-level strategy.
• Requires an understanding of the competitive landscape within the market and the capacity to make informed sales decisions based on that data.
• Responsible for ongoing Sales Support activities throughout the Order to Invoice process.
• Manages the customer interface for backend Quality processes, including corrective actions and Field Quality Reports.
• Responsible for maintaining the Perfect Order Index (POI) and inventory integrity to reduce write-offs and bill-backs.
• Oversees the customer interface for critical Credit & Financial Information while coordinating all available resources and support functions.
• As the owner of the overall customer Quote to Order sales objectives, develop strategy for the quoting process, coordinate resources and the processing of customer quotations (Quote Center, Quote Cover Sheet, PM Views, Management, FSR, Suppliers, Value Add, and SSG), validate EOL and item class changes (NCNR), negotiate pricing and Quote mark-up (owning strategy and application), and inform customers of all price increases.
• Typically necessitates a four-year degree and 2–4 years of relevant experience; or an advanced degree without experience; or equivalent professional experience.
