This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Lead, mentor, coach, and develop a team consisting of four direct reports.
• Conduct regular discussions on performance, career development planning, and succession planning activities.
• Promote a culture that values accountability, engagement, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Provide direction and support to enable team members to achieve both individual and organizational objectives.
• Identify skill deficiencies and opportunities for development within the team.
• Formulate and implement regional business strategies that align with company goals.
• Analyze market trends, competitive actions, and industry developments to pinpoint growth opportunities.
• Collaborate with Sales, Product Management, Marketing, and Operations to advance strategic initiatives and business priorities.
• Assess regional performance and propose actions to enhance market penetration and business outcomes.
• Assist in forecasting, business planning, and long-term growth strategies.
• Keep abreast of regulatory, economic, and industry trends that affect the Building Technologies market.
• Work with internal stakeholders to ensure cohesive alignment between strategic goals and their execution.
• Lead regional projects and initiatives that bolster organizational growth and operational efficiency.
• Develop and present business updates, strategic plans, and recommendations to senior leadership.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Construction Management, Marketing, or a related field.
• Over 5 years of progressive experience in building products, construction, manufacturing, plumbing, or a related sector.
• More than 3 years of experience in people leadership, including responsibilities for coaching, mentoring, and performance management.
• Proven ability to lead teams through influence, development, and accountability.
• Strong business acumen paired with experience in strategic planning.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and leadership abilities.
• Capacity to analyze data and convert insights into actionable business strategies.
