This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.
• Qualify incoming commercial leads by taking over from our Lead Nurturing team.
• Conduct discovery calls with commercial clients, including facility managers, property managers, and small business owners.
• Create quotes in our CRM and confidently present them during online or phone discussions.
• Manage objections and close deals during the call.
• Maintain a structured follow-up process for every qualified lead to ensure no leads are neglected.
• Coordinate site assessments with our certified installer network throughout Australia.
• Schedule installation dates with both installers and customers; address any scheduling conflicts.
• Ensure a smooth transition of every project through the stages: "quote accepted," "site assessment," "installation booked," "installation complete," and "invoice paid."
• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers during the entire project lifecycle.
• Address and resolve issues between customers and installers as they arise; escalate to leadership only when necessary.
• Foster relationships with our certified installer network, which includes current installers across major Australian cities.
• Identify gaps in installer coverage and bring them to the attention of leadership.
• Conduct quality checks on installer performance based on customer feedback following installations.
• Provide onboarding support for new installers as the network expands.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in closing B2B or high-ticket B2C sales — you must show that you have successfully CLOSED deals, not just qualified leads or set appointments.
• Proven history of managing deals in the range of $3k to $20k USD ticket sizes.
• Comfortable with online and phone communications with Australian business buyers — must have clear English, a confident accent, and a professional demeanor.
• Previously held a personal sales quota in a past role (not shared with a team).
• Experience in project coordination or operations in conjunction with sales (logistics, scheduling, and multi-party coordination).
• Technical Skills (Non-negotiable)
• Mastery of CRM systems — Zoho CRM preferred; experience with HubSpot or Salesforce is acceptable. Your CRM proficiency will be evaluated in the interview.
• An AI-forward mindset — actively utilizing ChatGPT, Claude, or similar tools in your daily work, with the ability to provide specific examples of how you've leveraged AI to enhance your sales or administrative processes.
• Comfortable with adopting new technologies.
• Self-sufficient in troubleshooting tools — does not require IT assistance.
• Soft Skills
• High level of accountability — you follow through on commitments, completing tasks as promised and on schedule.
• Strong written communication skills — capable of summarizing complex project statuses in three bullet points.
• Resourceful — when faced with obstacles, you seek solutions rather than waiting for guidance.
• Willing to respectfully challenge the status quo.
• Direct communicator — embodying Australian-style frankness (no fluff, no flattery).
• Nice-to-Haves
• Experience in the construction, trades, flooring, or building products industries.
• Previous experience in building or leading a small sales team (this role may evolve into team leadership).
• Familiarity with quoting software, invoicing tools, or basic ERP systems.
