This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Propel revenue growth and enhance market presence for distributed energy initiatives.
• Formulate go-to-market strategies and create tailored solar PV solutions for commercial clients.
• Supervise technical evaluations and collaborate with engineering teams to ensure solution feasibility.
• Prepare proposals and handle commercial negotiations and contracts.
• Track sales performance and offer market insights to facilitate business expansion.
• A degree (or equivalent) in Engineering, Business, Renewable Energy, Electrical Engineering, Energy Systems, Environmental Science, or a related field is mandatory. A master’s degree is preferred.
• Additional qualifications in business, sales, or project management are advantageous.
• A solid understanding of renewable energy technologies is crucial; familiarity with solar PV systems is a plus.
• Experience in delivering contracts under FIDIC and/or NEC frameworks is desirable.
• Demonstrated experience in the construction or engineering sector is essential.
• 7–10 years of experience in technical sales or business development, preferably within renewable energy or engineering services.
• Proven ability to manage the entire sales lifecycle, from client interaction to contract finalization.
• Experience in preparing and managing tenders for public and/or large-scale private sector projects.
• Strong commercial awareness, including contract negotiation skills and collaboration with legal and procurement teams.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management abilities.
• Capacity to work independently, prioritize multiple tasks, and collaborate across teams.
• Full, clean driving license and readiness to travel across Ireland as needed.
• Full right to work in the UK.
• Willingness to attend industry events and client meetings outside standard business hours when necessary.
