This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Assume complete responsibility for the development and expansion of the UK market.
• Identify and pursue fresh business opportunities within pharmaceutical, biotechnology, academic, government, and industrial research sectors.
• Cultivate and sustain robust relationships with customers, key accounts, and strategic partners.
• Promote and sell cutting-edge analytical instrumentation, including field-flow fractionation (FFF), chromatography-based solutions, light scattering systems, and particle characterization technologies.
• Offer technical and application-oriented support throughout the sales process in collaboration with our scientific and application teams.
• Prepare quotes, negotiate contracts, and effectively close sales opportunities.
• Represent Postnova Analytics at scientific conferences, trade shows, customer meetings, and industry events.
• Keep track of market trends, customer needs, and competitive activities.
• Collaborate closely with product management, application scientists, marketing, and service teams in the US and Europe.
• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, Life Sciences, Material Science, or a related scientific field, OR several years of proven sales experience in analytical instrumentation, chromatography systems, laboratory equipment, particle characterization, or related scientific technologies.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in technical sales of analytical instrumentation, laboratory equipment, or related scientific products.
• Strong comprehension of chromatographic and separation techniques, including HPLC, SEC/GPC, FFF, light scattering, particle characterization, or similar analytical methods.
• A demonstrated history of successful direct sales of complex scientific instruments and capital equipment.
• Proficiency in effectively communicating with scientists, laboratory managers, directors, and procurement stakeholders.
• Exceptional presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• An entrepreneurial mindset with the capability to work independently and manage a nationwide territory.
• An existing network within pharmaceutical, biotechnology, CRO, academic, government, or industrial research organizations is highly advantageous.
• Willingness to travel throughout the United Kingdom and occasionally internationally.
