This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.
• Formulate and implement strategic sales initiatives to meet revenue, profitability, and market share goals for the Trauma and Power Tools product line.
• Discover new business prospects, upcoming market trends, and competitive movements.
• Propel customer acquisition, enhance account penetration, and foster business growth.
• Build and sustain relationships with surgeons, hospital administrators, procurement departments, and healthcare networks.
• Execute pricing, contracting, and value-driven selling strategies.
• Oversee sales forecasting, territory management, pipeline development, and business evaluations.
• Cultivate long-lasting customer partnerships by comprehending clinical, operational, and economic requirements.
• Act as the company's representative for strategic accounts and key opinion leaders.
• Collect customer insights and market intelligence to aid product positioning, portfolio strategy, and innovation.
• Collaborate with Marketing and Professional Education teams on product launches, educational initiatives, and customer engagement strategies.
• Lead, inspire, mentor, and nurture a team of sales representatives.
• Set objectives, KPIs, and development plans.
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback, recognition, and coaching.
• Assist with recruitment, onboarding, succession planning, and talent development efforts.
• Create annual business plans, territory strategies, and account development plans.
• Monitor sales performance, market share, product mix, and profitability metrics.
• Deliver sales forecasts and management reports.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure operational excellence and customer satisfaction.
• Ensure adherence to company policies, quality standards, healthcare regulations, and ethical business practices.
• Stay informed about trauma surgery, orthopedic technologies, power tools, market trends, and healthcare developments.
• Engage in scientific congresses, professional societies, industry events, and training programs.
• Report directly to the Business Unit Director.
• A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Life Sciences, Business Administration, or a related field is required.
• An MBA or a postgraduate business qualification is preferred.
• Demonstrated success in medical device sales, ideally within Trauma, Orthopedics, Power Tools, Sports Medicine, or similar surgical specialties.
• Substantial experience in leading and developing high-performing sales teams.
• Proven history of consistently meeting or surpassing sales targets and business objectives.
• Experience in managing complex healthcare accounts and tender environments.
• Strong comprehension of hospital purchasing processes, healthcare stakeholders, and commercial contracting.
• Strategic mindset and business acumen.
• Exceptional leadership, coaching, and people management skills.
• Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and influencing abilities.
• Strong analytical and financial planning capabilities.
• Capacity to develop and implement commercial strategies in a competitive landscape.
• Ability to establish credibility with clinical and executive stakeholders.
• Results-driven attitude with a strong emphasis on accountability and execution.
• Ability to navigate change and lead organizational transformation.
• Must be based in Sevilla, Malaga, Cordoba, or Granada.
• Willingness to travel within the assigned territory and nationally as required.
