This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Malaysia.
• Lead and nurture the Heart Recovery clinical and sales team to promote Impella adoption and position Heart Recovery as the standard of care throughout South East Asia.
• Enhance patient outcomes by offering clinical guidance within the cath lab, operating room, and ICU, while ensuring compliance with the latest Heart Recovery clinical strategies.
• Conduct After Action Reviews and Case Reviews with physicians to foster continuous learning, quality enhancement, and excellence in clinical practice.
• Develop and execute comprehensive training programs for physicians, nurses, and hospital teams to ensure the optimal clinical application of Impella across both active and new sites.
• Cultivate and fortify peer-to-peer networks across the region, facilitating the sharing of best practices and supporting the establishment of Heart Recovery Centers of Excellence.
• Drive account management initiatives across key centers, collaborating with distributors to implement clinical strategies, monitor activities, and maintain transparent case reporting.
• Represent the organization at significant cardiology conferences, heart failure symposiums, and regional events in collaboration with Marketing and Medical Education teams.
• Forge strong relationships with SEA distribution partners through weekly alignment meetings, quarterly strategy reviews, and ongoing training to ensure consistent execution of the commercial playbook.
• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a healthcare-related field is required; an MD or PhD is highly preferred.
• At least 10+ years of experience in healthcare, ideally within medical devices/pharma and hospital settings.
• A minimum of 5 years in a clinical leadership role, preferably in interventional cardiology, cardiac surgery, or cardiac critical care.
• Demonstrated experience working with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), including interventional cardiologists, cardiac surgeons, and heart failure specialists.
• Excellent communication and public speaking skills, with a proven track record in facilitating clinical training and high-impact meetings.
• Ability to exercise independent judgment in complex clinical and commercial scenarios, along with strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
• Highly self-motivated, collaborative, and results-driven, with a deep passion for education, training excellence, and enhancing patient outcomes.
• Willingness to travel extensively throughout South East Asia (>50%), including providing clinical case support, engaging with distributors, and attending regional events.
