This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Accountable for driving sales and revenue growth for roofing system components in southern and eastern Germany.
• Responsible for acquiring new clients from specialist retailers, roofing system providers, and construction firms.
• Maintain and enhance the existing customer network.
• Conduct regular meetings with major and key accounts.
• Perform frequent customer and project site visits.
• Establish long-lasting relationships with roofing contractors, distributors, system providers, architects, consultants, and key project stakeholders.
• Offer technical guidance to deliver tailored solutions for specific roofing applications and project needs.
• Collaborate with architects, planners, and engineering firms to develop and place product specifications.
• Prepare proposals, including negotiations, pricing strategies, and delivery terms.
• Oversee the entire customer portfolio in collaboration with the internal sales team.
• Construct and monitor a structured sales forecast and opportunity pipeline.
• Design and execute the annual marketing and sales strategy.
• Ensure efficient order processing through close collaboration with relevant internal departments.
• Conduct market research and analysis, including competitive analysis, pricing trends, and market dynamics.
• Provide structured market feedback to assist in product development and positioning.
• Identify new market opportunities, application areas, and customer segments.
• Undertake project management tasks in cooperation with marketing.
• A university degree (e.g., Engineering, Civil Engineering, Business Administration) or equivalent professional experience.
• Over 5 years of professional experience in the construction industry, ideally with a focus on roofing.
• Proven experience in building and maintaining customer relationships.
• Knowledge and experience with flat roof systems and specifications is a plus.
• Fluent in German and possess good English skills (both spoken and written).
