Sales Manager – Quantum Solutions

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Achieve and surpass annual booking goals within a designated geographic area, including the nurturing of significant existing strategic accounts and the identification of new prospective accounts.

• Oversee the complete sales process from initial lead generation to closing deals and fostering repeat purchases.

• Develop comprehensive business plans aimed at meeting objectives and quotas.

• Act as the primary communicator of our value proposition to potential clients in both the academic and commercial sectors of the industry.

• Identify customer requirements and ensure the provision of necessary products, tools, and technical resources to support their ambitious targets, thereby maintaining our competitive edge.

• Collaborate with various internal teams on intricate customer tenders, bids, and other agreements.

• Effectively utilize go-to-market resources (e.g., solution engineers, marketing, professional materials, evaluation programs, etc.) to enhance customer satisfaction and encourage repeat business.

• Keep an accurate and current record of all leads and opportunities under your responsibility; provide reports as required.


⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of demonstrated experience as a successful, growth-focused salesperson, particularly in new business development.

• A strong advantage is having experience in hardware sales and selling to academic institutions and research laboratories.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English; outstanding presentation abilities.

• Proficient knowledge and experience in market research, sales cycle management, and negotiation techniques.

• Capability to cultivate trust-based relationships.

• Strong organizational and time management skills; high degree of independence.

• Proficient in MS Office; familiarity with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce).

• Educational background in physics or electrical engineering, with an understanding of quantum computing.

• Willingness to travel to meet customers and prospects regularly.
