Sales Manager – Quantum Solutions

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Achieve and surpass annual booking objectives assigned to a specific geographic area, which includes nurturing significant existing strategic accounts and identifying new potential clients.

• Oversee the complete sales process from the initial lead through to closing deals and facilitating repeat purchases.

• Develop comprehensive business plans aimed at meeting set goals and quotas.

• Act as the primary communicator of our value proposition to prospective clients in both academic and commercial sectors.

• Identify customer requirements and ensure that we supply the necessary products, tools, and technical resources to support their ambitious objectives, thereby maintaining our competitive edge.

• Collaborate with various internal departments on intricate customer tenders, bids, and other agreements.

• Utilize go-to-market resources (such as solution engineers, marketing, professional materials, evaluation programs, etc.) effectively to enhance customer satisfaction and encourage repeat business.

• Keep an accurate and updated record of all leads and opportunities managed; provide reports as required.


⛳️ Requirements

• 10+ years of demonstrated success as a results-driven salesperson with a focus on new business growth.

• Experience in hardware sales and a background in selling to academic institutions and research laboratories is highly advantageous.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English, along with strong presentation capabilities.

• Proficient knowledge and experience in market research, sales cycle management, and negotiation tactics.

• Ability to foster trust-based relationships.

• Strong organizational and time-management skills; capable of working independently at a high level.

• Proficient in MS Office and familiar with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce).

• Educational background in physics or electrical engineering, with a solid understanding of quantum computing.

• Willingness to travel regularly to meet customers and prospects.
