This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Idaho, +3 more states.
• Coordinates activities to achieve designated new business and sales targets.
• Engages with personnel from various business units regarding the business landscape, the competitive positioning of our products, pricing sensitivity, product assortment, technology advancements, market trends, and strategies to address procedural, sales distribution, delivery, and service challenges.
• Responds promptly and effectively to competitive and market opportunities, as well as to communications from distributors, dealers, OEMs, end users, and the factory.
• Communicates relevant matters of mutual interest to manufacturer representatives and group staff.
• Develops and executes an annual sales strategy.
• Coordinates involvement in local, state, regional, and national trade shows alongside non-sales personnel as necessary.
• Maintains documentation of market coverage on a quarterly basis.
• Manages annual distributor agreements, processes related documentation, and approves changes to the distributor network.
• Contributes positively to the corporate financial results through effective expense management.
• Facilitates timely information exchange with the factory, sales representatives, and accounts.
• Collaborates with the inside sales team to manage all quotations within the assigned territory, ensuring an acceptable margin level.
• Accurately forecasts monthly sales by product to align production schedules and assure timely product delivery.
• Oversees administrative responsibilities to comply with deadlines established by group management (e.g., expense reports, new business reports, quarterly summaries, monthly schedules, and/or forecasts).
• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field of study is preferred (e.g., Business, Marketing, etc.).
• A minimum of five (5) years of experience in Automotive, Fleet, and/or Law Enforcement sales is required.
• Alternatively, ten (10) years of experience in the Automotive, Fleet, and/or Law Enforcement industry can be considered in place of sales experience.
• Must be willing to travel extensively.
• Proficient in word processing, database management, and spreadsheet software, along with strong customer issue troubleshooting skills utilizing multiple channels.
• Exceptional communication abilities, capable of conveying information effectively, both verbally and in writing, to a diverse range of audiences.
