This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Oversees activities aimed at achieving assigned new business goals and sales targets.

• Engages with personnel from various business units regarding the business landscape, product positioning in the market, price sensitivity, product assortment, technology, market trends, and strategies for resolving procedural, sales distribution, delivery, and service issues.

• Responds promptly and effectively to competitive market opportunities as well as inquiries from distributors, dealers, OEMs, end users, and the factory.

• Communicates relevant issues of mutual interest to manufacturer representatives and group staff.

• Designs and executes an annual sales strategy.

• Organizes participation in local, state, regional, and national trade shows alongside non-sales personnel as necessary.

• Maintains documentation of market coverage on a quarterly basis.

• Manages annual distributor agreements, processing documents and approving changes to the distributor network.

• Positively impacts the corporate financial performance through efficient expense management.

• Ensures timely communication of information to the factory, sales representatives, and accounts.

• Collaborates with the inside sales team to manage all quotations within the designated territory while maintaining an acceptable margin level.

• Accurately forecasts monthly sales by product to align production schedules and guarantee timely product delivery.

• Keeps track of administrative duties to meet deadlines established by group management, including expense reports, new business reports, quarterly narratives, monthly schedules, and forecasts.


⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Marketing, etc.) is preferred.

• A minimum of five (5) years' experience in Automotive, Fleet, and/or Law Enforcement sales is required.

• Alternatively, ten (10) years of experience in the Automotive, Fleet, and/or Law Enforcement industry may substitute for sales experience.

• Must be willing to travel extensively.

• Proficient in word processing, database management, and spreadsheet applications, with strong problem-solving skills in customer issues across multiple channels.

• Exceptional communication skills, able to convey information effectively both verbally and in writing to diverse audiences.
