This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.
• Accountable for overseeing and guiding a sales team to meet sales and profit targets within a designated territory.
• Create and propose sales and marketing initiatives while establishing both short-term and long-term sales strategies.
• Formulate and execute sales and customer retention initiatives aimed at maximizing sales performance, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
• Plan, forecast, and provide reports on sales activities and competitive pricing strategies.
• Defines the sales process and devises innovative and effective sales strategies to achieve targeted sales results, while pinpointing opportunities for improvement as necessary.
• Conducts analysis and generates reports to uncover potential opportunities for sales and revenue enhancement within their territories.
• Develops sales methodologies that promote desired sales outcomes and expand market share within the assigned territory.
• Oversees and mentors direct reports, including those in outside sales and special product sales.
• Evaluates performance management, identifies high-potential candidates, and coaches and fosters the team’s career development and sales enhancement.
• Prior sales leadership experience in a related industry.
• Background in business-to-business sales.
• Familiarity with sales techniques such as consultative selling.
• Skills in talent evaluation, team building, and coaching/mentoring a sales team.
• Experience with a large volume of product lines.
• Knowledge of facility products, including hardware, electrical, lighting, and more.
• Proficient in MS Excel and Salesforce, or equivalent CRM systems.
• Demonstrated ability to achieve or surpass sales targets.
• Strong communication abilities, both written and verbal.
