This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.
• Recruit, train, and manage a high-performing sales team located in Sydney, dedicated to enterprise clients.
• Establish and expand our sales operations in Australia, including contributing to the setup and development of our Sydney office and regional activities.
• Create and implement go-to-market strategies to penetrate target accounts, reduce sales cycles, and enhance deal size.
• Develop foundational sales processes, playbooks, and resources tailored to the Australian and wider APAC market.
• Produce documentation, customer testimonials, and other materials to address common enterprise objections and expedite deal cycles.
• Take ownership of team performance to achieve and surpass revenue targets, focusing on acquiring and expanding enterprise legal customers.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across the globe in Marketing, Product, and Customer Success to deliver cohesive, localized solutions.
• Lead intricate, multi-stakeholder sales cycles, including RFPs, security assessments, and tailored contract negotiations.
• Work alongside IT and People teams to address regional compliance, technical, and procurement needs.
• Monitor key sales metrics, analyze performance trends, and provide actionable insights to leadership to refine strategy.
• Stay actively involved in key deals while mentoring team members and fostering strong executive relationships with clients.
• Serve as a regional leader and company representative, showcasing the business in the Australian market.
• Other responsibilities as needed.
• Over 4 years of experience in sales leadership, including a minimum of 2 years managing an enterprise B2B SaaS sales team. Experience in legal, compliance, or professional services is advantageous.
• Demonstrated success in building and scaling sales teams, preferably as an early or first regional hire.
• Proven history of closing complex, high-value deals and enhancing sales efficiency (conversion rates, sales cycle length, deal size).
• Experience in developing and executing regional go-to-market strategies for mid-market and enterprise segments.
• Strong familiarity with the Australian market; experience in the APAC region is a plus.
• Proficient in implementing scalable sales processes and tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
• Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with the capability to influence stakeholders across various locations.
• Comfortable collaborating with globally distributed teams across different time zones.
