This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Formulate and implement strategic sales initiatives aimed at achieving revenue goals and increasing market presence in the manufacturing and production sectors.
• Lead, mentor, and manage a sales team, promoting a culture of high performance and accountability.
• Identify and target new business prospects through methods such as prospecting, networking, trade exhibitions, and industry events.
• Establish and nurture robust, long-lasting relationships with key accounts.
• Work collaboratively across functions with operations, production, and customer service teams to ensure a smooth customer experience and delivery.
• Prepare and deliver precise sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and performance metrics to senior management.
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms in accordance with company margin and profitability objectives.
• Analyze market trends, competitive factors, and customer feedback to guide product and sales strategies.
• Oversee the entire sales cycle from lead generation to closure and post-sale account management.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a similar field (or equivalent professional experience).
• At least 5 years of sales experience.
• Proven experience in sales within manufacturing, industrial, or production contexts.
• Demonstrated capability to meet and exceed sales targets in a B2B environment.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation abilities.
• Proficient in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and the Microsoft Office Suite.
• Willingness to travel as needed to meet clients and participate in industry events (up to 50%).
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, supply chain, and production schedules.
• Experience in capital equipment, custom fabrication, or industrial components sales.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles or Six Sigma methodologies.
• Existing professional network within the manufacturing or production sector.
• Experience in managing national or multi-territory accounts.
• Base Salary: $72,000 – $96,000 per year, based on experience.
