This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Create and implement strategic sales initiatives to meet revenue goals and enhance market presence in the manufacturing and production sector.
• Guide, mentor, and manage a sales team, cultivating a culture of high performance and accountability.
• Discover and pursue new business ventures through prospecting, networking, trade shows, and industry events.
• Establish and nurture strong, enduring relationships with key accounts.
• Work collaboratively with operations, production, and customer service teams to ensure a smooth customer experience and delivery.
• Prepare and deliver precise sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and performance metrics to senior management.
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms in line with company margin and profitability objectives.
• Keep track of market trends, competitive dynamics, and customer feedback to shape product and sales strategies.
• Oversee the entire sales cycle from lead generation to closure and post-sale account management.
• A bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
• At least 5 years of sales experience.
• Proven track record of selling in manufacturing, industrial, or production settings.
• Demonstrated ability to meet and surpass sales quotas in a B2B environment.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation abilities.
• Proficient in CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and the Microsoft Office Suite.
• Willingness to travel as necessary to meet clients and participate in industry events (up to 50%).
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, supply chain, and production schedules.
• **Preferred Qualifications**
• Experience in capital equipment, custom fabrication, or industrial components sales.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles or Six Sigma environments.
• An established network of contacts within the manufacturing or production sectors.
• Experience in managing national or multi-territory accounts.
• **Base Salary:** $72,000 – $96,000 per year, based on experience.
