This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Lead, guide, and enhance the sales organization by optimizing its structure, personnel, and performance to achieve peak efficiency and effectiveness, including personal feedback and development.
• Collaborate with the National Sales Manager to formulate and execute strategic initiatives.
• Provide coaching to team members on sales techniques, procedures, and standards to help them reach their sales objectives.
• Convert local business plans into actionable sales plans, activities, and campaigns while managing the daily operations of a sales team to implement the organization’s overarching sales strategy for a designated geography, channel, and/or customer base.
• Prepare sales forecasts and budgets; track sales volume, revenue, and costs against forecasts to identify challenges and opportunities, and adjust procedures accordingly.
• Oversee the daily operations of the sales team to ensure targets are achieved.
• Allocate resources based on updated customer categorization to enhance the overall performance of the sales team.
• Negotiate sales agreements with both existing and new customers that are strategically important to the organization.
• Contribute to the formulation of sales, marketing, customer retention, advertising, pricing, and distribution strategies for the area of responsibility.
• Generate insights on market development, customer needs, and competitor activities, and share this information with internal stakeholders.
• Participate in overall decision-making processes.
• Develop, implement, and monitor customer-specific sales plans and marketing programs to meet or exceed sales targets.
• Successfully collaborate with both internal and external partners.
• Represent and expand the Essity business.
• Regularly analyze customer information to identify and manage business risks and opportunities.
• University Degree or equivalent experience in the healthcare sector.
• Over 5 years of relevant experience in the Healthcare Industry, including Long Term Care, Retirement, Memory Care, Assisted Living, or Acute settings.
• At least 3 years of management experience.
• Familiarity with incontinence care is preferred.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
• Strong business and financial acumen.
• Valid driver’s license and the ability to operate a motor vehicle are required.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% domestically.
• Effective teamwork and collaboration skills.
• Proven experience in coaching and leading a sales team is required.
• Flexible and positive attitude.
• Committed to using a CRM program effectively.
