
Sales Manager – Healthcare

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Lead, mentor, and provide support to a team of sales representatives across a vast, multi-market territory in Southern California.
• Enhance sales performance by establishing clear expectations, offering consistent guidance, and holding the team accountable to set goals.
• Evaluate sales performance, trends, and activities through reports and dashboards to inform strategic decisions and coaching discussions.
• Conduct regular one-on-ones, ride-alongs, and performance assessments to facilitate individual and team growth.
• Cultivate a culture based on integrity, trust, accountability, and collaboration.
• Balance assertiveness with flexibility — confidently voicing opinions when necessary while fostering alignment and collective decision-making.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (operations, leadership, and peers) to implement strategies and address challenges.
• Assist in change initiatives, new processes, and tool adoption while keeping the team focused and engaged.
• Ensure consistent implementation of sales processes, reporting standards, and business priorities.
• Serve as a role model for a strong work ethic, professionalism, and customer-centric selling.
• Demonstrated sales experience with a track record of achieving results in a performance-oriented environment.
• Previous leadership or management experience is advantageous, but not mandatory.
• Strong coaching, directive, and development abilities with the capacity to motivate a diverse range of personalities.
• Data-driven mindset with practical experience utilizing reports to steer decisions and performance evaluations.
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Excel, including the use of pivot tables.
• Comfortable interpreting and conveying sales metrics, trends, and insights.
• Collaborative leadership approach with the ability to work effectively across teams.
• High standards of integrity, professionalism, and cultural sensitivity.
• Strong work ethic with the capacity to manage priorities across a large geographic area.
• Openness to accept and implement direction while also providing thoughtful input and perspectives.
• Experience in the healthcare industry is a plus, though not essential.
