This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Develop market opportunities, proactively engage potential clients, and strategically place groups to fulfill hotel requirements and surpass client expectations.
• Establish and nurture robust relationships with both new and existing accounts to enhance repeat and referral business.
• Conduct engaging site tours that highlight the hotel’s newly renovated spaces and distinctive guest experiences.
• Create and present tailored, strategic proposals that align with client objectives while maximizing hotel revenue.
• Oversee accounts throughout the sales process, ensuring effective communication and execution at every stage.
• Facilitate contract negotiations and reviews, maintaining communication with clients and relevant hotel staff before, during, and after events to ensure exceptional service quality.
• Collaborate closely with Event Sales, Event Planning, and Operations teams to provide outstanding client experiences.
• Engage in and contribute to discussions on sales strategies, event meetings, and team initiatives.
• Develop and update digital marketing materials and collateral in partnership with the marketing team.
• Ensure accurate record-keeping, reporting, and pipeline management utilizing Hyatt systems.
• Demonstrated experience in group and event sales within the hospitality sector.
• Preferred training in strong selling, negotiation, business writing, and presentation skills.
• Previous experience in prospecting and networking to acquire new business is advantageous.
• Candidates should possess exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities are essential.
• Competency in general computer skills is required.
• Familiarity with basic design concepts in Canva or Adobe is a plus.
• Ability to be present on-site on a daily basis.
• Ideally, 1-2 years of hotel sales experience or completion of a Management Trainee program.
