• Identifying and pursuing new markets and customers

• Demonstrating excellence in negotiation skills
• Focusing on selling value
• Managing a current territory valued at $3 – 5 million
• Short to mid-term business potential estimated at $1 - 2 million (within 1-3 years)
• Bachelor’s Degree – Technical Degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering is highly preferred
• At least 5 years of direct territory sales experience
• Ideally, the candidate should also possess 3-5 years of laboratory experience in formulations or application testing
• Experience in the chemical industry is required; experience in performance chemicals is advantageous
• Preferred product lines include:
• Defoamers
• Wetting Agents
• Thickeners and Dispersants
• Wax Dispersions/Micronized Waxes
• Powder Additives for Construction
• Must reside in the Northeast region (preferably NY, NJ, PA)
• Willingness to travel 60% of the time in the field (3 out of 5 days visiting customers, with up to two weeks of overnight travel per month)
