This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.
• Actively seek out, target, and cultivate new strategic accounts within the designated territory through both inbound and outbound sales efforts.
• Perform customer discovery to gain insights into business goals, technical requirements, operational hurdles, and decision-making processes.
• Manage the entire sales cycle, encompassing prospecting, qualification, solution presentations, demonstrations, objection resolution, negotiations, and closing.
• Establish and sustain strong relationships with technical influencers, procurement leaders, quality professionals, and executive stakeholders.
• Lead customer presentations and discussions on technical solutions in collaboration with sales engineers, product specialists, and service teams.
• Work closely with marketing, product management, customer success, and service teams to foster account growth, enhance customer retention, and identify upsell opportunities.
• Keep precise CRM records, oversee pipeline activities, and provide consistent revenue forecasts.
• Convey pertinent market trends, competitive dynamics, and regulatory considerations, including GxP, FDA 21 CFR Part 11, and applicable ISO standards.
• Serve as the internal voice of the customer by communicating market feedback, product needs, and opportunities for improvement.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, life sciences, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years of B2B sales experience, ideally within life sciences, biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, industrial technology, or other regulated sectors.
• Proven track record of meeting or surpassing sales targets through complex, full-cycle sales processes.
• Strong business development capabilities, including the ability to initiate new accounts and foster relationships within intricate customer organizations.
• Experience in discussing technical solutions with stakeholders from engineering, IT, operations, quality, and procurement.
• Familiarity with regulated environments and associated compliance requirements is advantageous.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, negotiation, and objection-handling skills.
• Proficiency in using CRM platforms, such as Salesforce, and sales engagement tools.
