This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey, +2 more states.
• Identifying and targeting new markets and customers
• Proven ability to close sales deals
• Urgent and responsive follow-up practices
• Exceptional negotiation skills
• Emphasizing value in sales presentations
• Managing a current territory valued at $3 – 5 million
• Short to mid-term business potential estimated at $1 - 2 million (within 1-3 years)
• Bachelor’s Degree – A Technical Degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering is highly preferred
• At least 5 years of direct territory sales experience
• Ideally, candidates should also have 3-5 years of laboratory experience in formulations or application testing
• Required experience in the chemical industry; performance chemical experience is advantageous
• Preferred product lines include:
• Defoamers
• Wetting Agents
• Thickeners and Dispersants
• Wax Dispersions/Micronized Waxes
• Powder Additives for Construction
• Residence in the Northeast region is a must (Preferred: NY, NJ, PA)
• Willingness to travel 60% of the time in the field (3 out of 5 days visiting customers, with up to two weeks of overnight travel per month)
