This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Accountable for all sales-related activities pertaining to Water & Power opportunities
• Establishes and nurtures relationships with End Users, Engineering Consultants, Contractors, and Channel Partners
• Efficiently manages local channel partners (Manufacturer’s Representatives and Distributors) to enhance their performance
• Tracks and pursues project sales as well as service and aftermarket sales with existing customers
• Acts as the first point of contact for customer needs, while also collaborating with the company’s Factory Service Group
• Provides effective reporting through Rotork Customer Engagement (CRM) to ensure sales activity data is documented and shared when necessary
• Stays updated on our competitive landscape and the actions of our competitors
• Collaborates with the Manager and other Area Sales Managers to formulate a sales plan that aligns with the Company's objectives
• Responsible for delivering regular business forecasts for all products and services
• Compiles monthly sales reports with the regional sales manager to accurately project business forecasts
• Demonstrated ability to coordinate the sales of products and services across capital projects, resellers, and end users
• Experience in managing and supporting a network of channel partners
• Engineering or a related technical degree, preferably with a background in electrical systems
• Knowledge of valves and actuators, with experience in engineered industrial automation or process equipment sales
• Familiarity with the municipal market is a significant advantage
