This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Create and execute sales strategies aimed at achieving growth in sales and launching new products.
• Efficiently document and relay customer needs and insights gathered during meetings.
• Launch new Hitachi products and formulate corresponding sales plans.
• Cultivate and sustain relationships at both management and executive levels that are strategically significant to the organization.
• Serve as the company's representative to clients and vice versa.
• Participate in account meetings to provide insights on technology and demonstrate how it aligns with customer needs.
• Within HTA, facilitate and drive essential communication and actions to secure sales and resolve customer-related issues.
• Precisely forecast and meet budget targets.
• Demonstrate leadership by maintaining a positive attitude towards all employees and customers.
• Exhibit professionalism and take pride in personal appearance while adhering to company policy.
• Follow and comply with all company policies.
• Utilize SalesForce.com on a daily basis to maintain records of accounts, calls, quotes, leads, and expense reports promptly.
• Perform other assigned duties as needed.
• Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• A Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) is advantageous.
• Preferred five (5) years of experience in analytical science/chemistry or material analysis.
• Experience in sales and account management is essential.
• Proficiency in using common work and sales tools, such as Salesforce.com, PowerPoint, MS Office Suite, and Shared Calendar.
• Proven experience in managing large accounts, including business growth and problem-solving capabilities.
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license in the resident state and be insurable by our insurance provider.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 75% (approximately 50% travel on average).
