This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.
• Oversee, cultivate, lead, and motivate a team of National Account Managers to execute sales strategies aimed at expanding the customer base and enhancing sales margins.
• Define and articulate the vision and strategic business plans essential for achieving sales, margin, and new business growth targets.
• Set monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals and objectives for the team, evaluating their effectiveness in meeting these targets. Develop corrective action plans or adjustments as necessary.
• Regularly provide sales forecasting, planning, and make required adjustments to facilitate effective market planning and revenue growth necessary for achieving sales and margin growth objectives.
• Routinely supply business intelligence and market insights from the industry, clients, and competitors. Relay information on current and upcoming pursuits and pipeline across various business segments to the senior leadership team to manage and realign resources and business focus required for Motili’s growth objectives.
• Engage with C-Level customers, particularly end-user building owner clients, selling enterprise, multi-year revenue relationships.
• Collaborate with sales specialists, implementation resources, service resources, and other sales and management personnel as required.
• Secure buy-in from the President and COO for each segment’s business plan and collaborate with the senior leadership team to align resources and implement plans to meet goals and objectives.
• Undertake additional responsibilities as required.
• Over 10 years of sales and business experience, ideally within the construction, HVAC, or related industries.
• At least 5 years of progressive responsibility in strategic sales account management to mid-size and large customers in the Building Materials or service trades at the C-Suite, Mid-Level, and Field level, dealing with both short and long-term selling cycles that involve multi-million dollar and multi-year complex contracts.
• More than 6 years of direct leadership experience.
• Familiarity with HVAC systems, services, and equipment, preferably in both commercial and residential markets.
• Strong preference for knowledge in construction related to buildings, homes, and commercial properties.
• Demonstrated track record of success in sales, marketing, and profit and business development growth.
• Proven results in revenue and profit growth.
• Strong strategic planning, vision, organizational, and relationship management skills.
• Proven ability to develop strategic sales plans for products and services in both new and existing markets.
• Exceptional ability to influence, interact, and sell to a diverse range of clients.
• Excellent analytical skills, with the capacity to convert data into actionable insights for business decisions.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Proficient in MS Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and database applications.
• Outstanding verbal, written, and presentation skills, coupled with professional business acumen.
