This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Methodically employ pre-call planning and questioning techniques to comprehend customer needs and, as the 'Trusted Advisor', make recommendations to advance opportunities through various stages while utilizing post-call reviews to enhance outcomes.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams within the organization to achieve profitable and sustainable growth, all while delivering outstanding customer experiences.
• Highly skilled in utilizing CRM systems to maintain precise forecasts, plan activities, and analyze data to develop clear action plans that yield results.
• Exhibit a thorough understanding of transactions and trends (reasons for wins/losses, close rates, pipeline health, etc.) to create and propose actionable plans.
• 'Know your numbers better than anyone else'
• Effectively articulate and present the key aspects of any opportunity to gain support and buy-in from the business, maintaining a firm grasp of financial and margin details.
• 'Fact Based discussions'
• Engage in and represent the organization at trade shows, conferences, and seminars; assist with additional marketing initiatives as necessary.
• Continuously maintain and enhance professional and technical knowledge through the review of industry publications, building professional networks, and participating in professional organizations.
• Travel extensively within the region to support scheduled customer meetings, trade shows, training workshops, and networking opportunities.
• Display strong verbal and written communication abilities.
• Uphold a professional demeanor with a solid work ethic, representing Barry-Wehmiller with the utmost integrity.
• Capable of collaborating, inspiring, and motivating others as 'The Professional in the room' both internally and externally.
• Ability to communicate and present complex information in a concise, engaging, and positive manner.
• Proven track record of sales success (achievements, rankings, statistics)
• Proficient in the use of CRM systems, leveraging data and insights to identify opportunities and assist in decision-making.
• A professional demeanor that embodies Barry-Wehmiller’s core values and guiding principles
• Experience in capital equipment and/or packaging sales is preferred
• Engineering background is advantageous
• Over 50% travel required
