This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Develop a strategy for sustainable organic growth, concentrating on financial outcomes, new business opportunities, customer retention, and the acquisition and development of talent.
• Set, direct, and monitor sales objectives that align with both national practices and regional strategy.
• Inspire, coach, and lead the sales teams with a steadfast commitment to revenue enhancement.
• Collaborate with national, market, and local leadership to consistently assess and identify both immediate and long-term recruitment needs and strategies for retaining top talent.
• Create and uphold a pipeline of potential candidates in collaboration with the talent acquisition team.
• Recognize areas for improvement and devise strategies for advancement within the territory, including sourcing new business, exploring potential acquisitions, community engagement, carrier partnerships, and industry networking.
• Work with national, market, and local leadership to routinely evaluate the proficiency of sales team members in sales techniques, knowledge of insurance coverage, company capabilities, carrier products, and technology skills.
• Design and implement training programs for both new and existing sales team members, providing guidance and feedback to enhance performance growth through measurable goals and ensuring proper execution that aligns with the organization.
• Continuously analyze and assess performance and results within the scope of responsibility, preparing regular reports that compare actual outcomes with established goals; initiate necessary actions to ensure goal achievement.
• Maintain robust relationships with carrier partners to benefit the business in optimizing products and services.
• Over 10 years of progressive experience in sales and leadership.
• Strong technical expertise in all relevant lines of insurance coverage.
• Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite.
• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Risk Management, Insurance, or Business Administration. (preferred)
• Valid Insurance Producer license in good standing.
