This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Expand the DACH region and acquire new clients within libraries and public institutions.
• Identify and cultivate new business opportunities through proactive outreach and relationship development.
• Manage and enhance relationships with existing customers to foster long-term partnerships.
• Conduct client visits, workshops, and presentations to demonstrate solutions.
• Take ownership of your personal sales pipeline and forecasting duties.
• Guide public procurement processes and oversee tender submissions.
• Collaborate with internal teams to create and coordinate proposals.
• Lead commercial negotiations and navigate multi-stakeholder decision-making processes.
• Provide professional leadership and coaching to two Key Account Managers.
• Encourage a proactive sales mentality and assist the team in capitalizing on strategic opportunities.
• Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and professional gatherings.
• Build and sustain a robust network within the library and public sector ecosystem.
• Monitor market trends and competitive developments for strategic positioning.
• Several years of experience in software/SaaS sales with a proven track record of success.
• Initial team leadership or management experience with a player-coach approach.
• Genuine passion for actively selling and engaging closely with customers.
• Ability to establish long-lasting, trust-based relationships with clients.
• Experience in complex B2B solution sales and navigating multi-stakeholder environments.
• Ideally, experience with public clients or in public procurement/tender processes.
• Excellent communication skills in both German and English (written and spoken).
• A structured, self-reliant, and proactive work style.
